The Guild for Spiritual Guidance, an interspiritual nonprofit organization based in New York, is filling the role of Director of Apprenticeship Program.

This remote, part-time contract role is ideal for someone who is passionate about and capable of building and guiding a learning community of spiritual seekers. Each Apprenticeship Program (“AP”) cohort learns and practices together under the guidance of the Director. The Director, along with an assistant, will take primary responsibility for all aspects of the AP including curriculum, scheduling, and budget. Course development work typically takes 2 – 6 months. Each AP then runs approximately 2 years from opening weekend to graduation, typically not meeting in July and August. The Guild has graduated 22 cohorts of apprentices since its inception in 1978.

The role typically averages 13-15 hours work per week. Interested candidates should review the Apprenticeship Program section of our website to become familiar with the AP’s design, purpose, and audience. The job application form is available here. Any questions regarding the Director position or the AP that are not answered in the materials above may be addressed to the AP Launch Team, reachable via info@spiritualguidance.org.

Please send completed applications, your resume, and a brief cover letter outlining your interest and relevant experience to info@spiritualguidance.org.
