January – April 2027
Online via Zoom
Program Description:
Our Dream Circle is a sacred container for honoring the light, shadow and wisdom of our psyches. Together we will hold one another and the dreams that are shared with reverence and confidentiality as we listen deeply to discern from our dreams what we’re releasing, integrating, and midwifing into being. Depth Psychologist Dianne Frost will lead the Dream Circle on Zoom using a variety of approaches. She will guide participants in learning the art of Dream Tending, originated by Stephen Aizenstat, founder of Pacifica Graduate Institute. Dream Tending is a blend of Western modes of dreamwork (largely Jungian) and Indigenous understandings of dreamwork. Additionally, dreamwork processes originated by Jeremy Taylor, co-founder of International Association for the Study of Dreams, will be used. Active imagination and dream amplification via creative arts will be encouraged as well. The Dream Circle will be intimate with a limit of 10 participants who will hold the sacred container together for 4 months, meeting twice monthly. Re-enrollment may continue for continued participation following the first 4 months. Our dreams await our tending!

Presenter: Dianne Frost, Ph.D.
Dianne Frost, Ph.D., has been intrigued by dreams since childhood. She recalls greatly enjoying bedtime as a child because of the imaginal romps through fascinating realms that awaited her when she closed her eyes for dreaming. Her love of the imaginal led her eventually to study dreams and psyche in depth and become a Depth Psychologist who specializes in Dreamwork. Her doctoral dissertation explores the potent effects Dream Tending had on a group of women she mentored in the process of engaging with their dreams. Dream Tending acknowledges the living energy of dream images, so Dreamers and Dream Tenders interact with the dream images, befriending them and gleaning insights in the process. Along with Dream Tending, Dr. Frost leads individuals and groups in Dream Theatre, Social Dreaming and approaches to dreamwork outlined by Jeremy Taylor, co-founder of International Association for the Study of Dreams
