Overall Structure
Each AP cohort is a learning community. The Guild discerned early in its history that the wisdom of the gathered community of seekers is a critical and co-equal strand of wisdom to the other three: Evolutionary Cosmology, Depth Psychology, and Mystic Spirituality. Building community takes an investment of time and trust.
When the AP XXXIII program begins, gatherings will be online twice a month, on Saturday, for most of the day. They will start at 9:30am and end mid-afternoon, with an hour break for lunch. This will extend for 10 months out of each year, taking a summer break for July and August. Exact times will be determined closer to the program’s launch. Apprentices are expected to prioritize attending and participating in all gatherings.
Onsite gatherings
Two-night retreats will be held at a retreat center 3 times during the course of the program. Once in the first or second month, again roughly half-way through the 2 years, and a final meeting at the end of the 2 year period. Your tuition includes housing and meals for these 3 retreats.
Being Community
We understand that the occasional absence over the course of two years is unavoidable. Life happens. One of the things that sets the Apprenticeship Program apart from other formation programs is the importance placed on the wisdom that each Apprentice brings into the community’s learning process. Your consistent presence is a vital part of the community’s life and learning, so we ask you to make sure you have the time and support you need to be able to attend all of the gatherings.
