Writing Your Spiritual Autobiography and Soul Mythology

In a series of four workshops, we will explore personal stories, the myths generated by those stories, and the truths and archetypes that lie within those myths. Through reflection and examination, we will identify impactful life events, which will then help us craft a narrative around one. No previous writing experience is necessary – these stories are expected to be written simply, as though told to a trusted friend.

About the presenter, Dr. Daniel Robinson:

Daniel Robinson is a Professor of Pharmacy and Medicine at the University of Florida, as well as a spiritual director and past president of the Northeast Guild for Spiritual Formation. He is the founder of the U.F. Distance Education Doctor of Pharmacy Program, mentoring doctoral students in North America, Korea and Europe. Daniel’s spiritual mentoring includes the use of the labyrinth, journaling, music, the Enneagram, in addition to writing our autobiographical sacred stories, and the living out of our personal myths. His recent book, Misty Mornings and Grace Filled Evenings, is an invitation to share your life with a fellow pilgrim through the Celtic tradition of soul companioning. In addition to his books, Daniel has penned over 80 journal articles. He shares Camp Anam Cara on Green Lake of Acadia in Maine with his wife, Heather, and their English Setter, Keefer.
